Accessibility is part of Luftigt’s purpose. Information about clean air and healthy places should be understandable and available to a wide range of people.

The current site includes:

• A skip link and semantic page landmarks.
• Logical heading structure and descriptive link text.
• Keyboard-operable navigation and disclosures.
• Visible focus indicators.
• Text alternatives for content images.
• Responsive layouts that support zoom and smaller screens.
• Reduced-motion behavior based on device preferences.
• Color choices intended to maintain readable contrast.

Luftigt aims to follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA. This is an ongoing aim, not a claim of formal certification.

Luftigt has not yet been formally assessed against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, so no conformance claim is made. A preliminary internal code review has been completed. Broader manual testing, an independent audit, and a full assistive-technology review have not yet been completed.

This statement covers pages published on Luftigt.org. The site uses HTML and CSS for its core content and presentation. JavaScript and SVG provide progressive enhancements such as motion, navigation state, and atmospheric visual details.
